The Marlin Hunter (33' Signature Sportfisher)

• Rate: $750 half day, $950 full day
• Power: twin turbo-diesel Cummins engines, 500 horsepower
• Condition: fully restored in 2024
• Best for: offshore fishing for marlin, dorado (mahi-mahi), tuna, and other game fish

Gaviota IX (28' Cabo Classic)

• Capacity: up to 4 guests
• Rate: $650 half day, $850 full day
• Power: 260-horsepower turbo-diesel Cummins engine
• Condition: fully renovated in 2024
• Best for: focused offshore or inshore fishing for marlin, dorado (mahi-mahi), tuna, and coastal species

Mila Rose (25' Super Panga)

• Capacity: up to 3 guests
• Rate: $400 half day, $750 full day
• Power: twin 100-horsepower outboard engines
• Best for: a lightweight, fast platform for inshore and offshore fishing

Decimal Dust (67' Luxury Sportfisher)

• Capacity: up to 10 guests
• Rate: $6,500 full day
• Power: twin 500-horsepower turbo-diesel engines
• Condition: fully renovated in 2024
• Charter format: full-day, all-inclusive — boat, crew, bait, premium fishing gear, fishing license, and food and drinks all included

What can I expect on board?

The Marlin Hunter's charters are led by local Cabo crews who know the fishing grounds and adjust the day to current conditions. Depending on the trip and season, a charter can target marlin, dorado (mahi-mahi), tuna, wahoo, snapper, and other local species, and fishing days can include sightseeing opportunities like whale spotting when conditions allow. Every sportfishing boat carries live-bait wells.

Charter formats vary by boat — where available, 3-hour, 5-hour, and 8-hour (full-day) trips can all be booked, alongside the half-day and full-day rates listed per boat above. Both all-inclusive options (like Decimal Dust) and standard charters — where food, bait, and licenses are handled separately — are available. Who's on the team?

The Marlin Hunter was founded by lifelong angler Frank Bonise. Renee Bonise supports guests on shore with planning and trip support, including arranging excursions and other Cabo services. Dock Master Carlos meets charter guests at the marina for dock-side coordination.

Captain assignments and dock details can shift trip to trip — confirm the current captain assignment, meeting location, arrival time, and dock instructions before departure. The Marlin Hunter's vessels and operation are licensed and insured for sportfishing in Cabo.
